One of the luckiest things that happened to me in Boston was getting introduced to my acting coach Dossy Peabody. She has bountiful gifts as an actor and coach. I always feel so much more clear and grounded after working with her; she guides me to find the simplest, smartest choices. Currently, we are workshopping scenes from "Amy's View" (by David Hare) and I have the honor of playing her daughter, Amy.
She has also become a dear friend and one of my yoga students. We exchange acting lessons for yoga lessons so I also have the opportunity to share my yoga practice with her. I highly recommend Dossy and am just so grateful to know her and work with her! http://nmlc.org/2013/04/acting-for-our-cause/ Tonight April 7th, we opened to a sold out house at Mezza Luna with "Murder 'Seals' the Deal", performed as a benefit for the National Marine Life Center. I'm feeling very grateful that we are able to raise money to help wonderful seals like my new friend Townsend. The audience was with us the whole time and we had a blast performing our quirky little murder mystery! Can't wait to do it again tomorrow at 7:30 PM! |
